Our team last raced at the Sears Pointless in March. In the beginning, we ran fairly well for our standards.
Then as the day became a little warmer, we developed some heating trouble. It turned out our trouble was the result of a hose failure. With a quick repair and the addition of water, we were back up and running.
The rest of the weekend went to our schedule with the car still running by the end of the race (matching my goal for the weekend that the car finishes). However, when the car came back into the pits, we noticed some unique fender damage. When I inquired about the cause of the damage, the driver was a little cagey and said it was loose debris. OK
The repairs required on the D's outside is mostly cosmetic. A little spray foam, tape, and paint on the fender will make it right. There is also some general maintenance like, wheel bearings, oil exchange, brakes, and tires and we will be up and running.
As for the residual amount the parts and pieces are not many. So, may I dare ask you for lenience and give us a fair residual value for our car?

On the wheel bearings, those are budget-exempt so go ahead and buy the good ones. Spend whatever you need to fix the bodywork and spray-foam damage.
As for the rest, I'll say $400 residual value, giving you 100 bucks to fix the other stuff. Does that work?
