Plead For Residual Value (Arse-Freeze 2015)

Judge Phil,

Lemons HQ in some fit of madness has accepted us, Half Life Racing Ra-D-um and Seize-Z-um in Arse Freeze Appaloosa.  We last ran our two cars at "Vodden the Hell are we Doing?" and we are still rebalancing our electrolytes and dusting ourselves off from the race in Thunderhill.

In the beginning of that race, we had a tough start.  We found the rear bearing on the Z to be more worn than first thought on the departure day, so we had a lot of unexpected work to get ready.

When we got on to the track there was more work to be done that prevent us from running.  The only solution was to find our inner zen.

Once acquired the cars found their way onto the track.

In the end we eat well,

and ran good enough for our standards.  We even managed to find someone to compete with.  Though it was only an inter squad battle.
As for the cars post race, outwardly they seems to have done well.  A tap on a fender to push it back out, some buffing to remove the tire mark, and some rattle can paint to cover everything else and the cars appear to be Lemons ready.

However, kicking the tires a little harder we found bearing problems with the differential on the Miata, Suspension linkage and radiator troubles with the Z.

We've seen worse with these cars, but if left unattended they could get us into trouble at Arse Freeze.  So, to run these cars again we ask you for a fair residual value in the $440 range.  That will allow us to buy the bearings for the Miata and stock rubber to fashion a bushing.

Thank you for the consideration.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
