Status Before Skankaway

This last weekend was a very busy work weekend. We had everyone on deck except one to get the two cars ready for the thrashing that is coming this weekend at Sears Point. Here are some pictures of the working crew.

There where 5 under the car before I could get a camera

The list of action items has been dwindle, but there are some nagging problems left.

Z issues:

Make the Wheels fit

After 7 races we might have bent a few front suspension parts. When mounting the new rims we found that the passenger side wheel rubs the strut while the Driver's side clears the suspension parts. To fix this a wheel spacer is needed to accommodate the new wheel. Here are the task to get that done:

· Replace Studs on the front hubs

· Connect Hubs and Rotors

· Remount the hubs

· Install brakes

· Bleed Brakes

· Install Wheel Spacer

· Roll front fenders

Paint

Several locations on the car can use a little rattle can work giving the car that radiant glow.

  1. as the one missing party I feel a bit guilty I wasn't there, but looking at the list, things at least when I left the car last I was in running order (electrically at least). We weren't the only team down at Rennsport Reunion, check out the Lemon's 914 next to a 908.
