Up for a trip to ALMS on May 12

This year American Le Mans Series is taking on Laguna Seca on May 11-12.  In an attempt to make it even more exciting the ALMS is running five different classes.  This should increase the action, so it might now be on par to what we see in our Lemons Racing.  However, it still lacks in the unique variety of cars by running the standard Audi, Lotus, BMW, Chevy, Porsche, and Ferrari.  How droll and limited in that we regularly see all those plus the whine of the Alpha Romero, the pop of the Mazda, the sputtering of the Triumph, puttering of the MGB, the clatter of the Llyod, the whizzing of the Opel, and the roar (then Kaboom) of the other American muscle.
So, even without the variety it appears at least three of our team are looking to risk it and go visit Monterey that weekend.

So, if anyone else has interest let me know, and we can see if we can get tickets.

  1. I'm in... I'm always up for seeing the Porsche's run around the track.
